on the way to work this morning,
i saw this grandma walking out to the bus stop.
she's the grandma who works in the airport canteen.
and she's the grandma who helps to clear and clean table.
each time she helps my colleagues and i clear,
i'll say 'thank you so much'.
and she'll say 'no need, no need'.
so, i saw her walking to the bus stop.
and there was a pinch in my heart.
i saw a bruise on her cheek bone and one on her fore head.
i felt the pain when i saw that.
i took a step back in the rain, wanted to ask what happened.
but i didn't have the courage to go up to her.
i kept thinking of her and the bruises on her.
it affected me so much that i couldn't concentrate on my work.
so i thought i would pray for her.
but i forgot !!!
this is really bad.
how can i even forget?
well, i'll pray for her to receive healing.
and i'll pray to God to watch over her.

baby, you were here when i needed you.
you were here when i passed the gates of death.
you were here whenever i'm in need.
and i promise i'll be there for you, no matter what.
because i do love you a lot.
